What a local website should cost — and what it should include

A usable site for a shop is not a 15,000€ branding odyssey. It is also not a 90€ template you never update.

Prices for “a website” range from a weekend Wix login to a six-month agency. Here is the range I consider honest for a local business that needs to be found on Google.

What you are actually buying

Not a logo contest. A handful of clear pages, they work on a phone, a contact path that reaches you, Google and Maps set up so the address is right, and someone who will change the hours when you ask.

If a quote is 5,000€ of workshops before a homepage exists, you are buying process, not a site.

The 900€ + 25€/month number

My Website Builder offer is 900€ once, then 25€ a month for hosting, updates and a monthly check-in. Delivery is 2–4 weeks. You keep the site, the Google account, and the code.

The monthly fee is not a hostage ransom. It is how the thing stays true when you change Saturday hours. You can leave; you still own what we built.

When it should cost more

Ecommerce, bookings with payments, three languages, or a custom tool on top of the site — that is another conversation (sometimes consulting, sometimes a small app). Say so up front.

A restaurant add-on (menu, allergens, reservation button) I price as a small extra. It should not silently become a 12,000€ project.

Julien Bardin builds modern websites for local businesses (Google, Maps, AI visibility) and ships startup MVPs in 2–4 weeks. From €900 + €25/mo for websites, or from €5,999 reference price for most SaaS & app projects. Book a free call.
